Women's Health Physiotherapy — Pelvic Health, Post-Natal & Beyond
Pelvic floor problems, post-natal recovery, menopause-related musculoskeletal change — too many women are told these are simply part of life. They're not. Specialist women's health physiotherapy can address most of them effectively, and the assessment is more dignified and conversational than most people fear before they walk in.

What it covers
Stress and urge urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, post-natal abdominal separation (diastasis recti), c-section scar recovery, pelvic pain, menopause-related joint and tendon change, and pre/post-gynaecological-surgery rehab.
What an assessment actually involves
Conversation first — full history, symptoms, what you want to change. Physical assessment is consent-led; internal examination is sometimes valuable but never assumed. You decide what's appropriate at every step. A female clinician is available on request — please mention when booking.
Why this is its own discipline
Pelvic floor and post-natal physiotherapy needs specific training the average MSK physio doesn't have. Mishandled, it can entrench rather than fix the problem. We work to current Pelvic Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy (POGP) guidance.
- Female clinician available — request at booking
- Discreet, ground-floor room
- Partners welcome to attend if you'd prefer
- No referral required — self-refer directly
